June 2013

June has been a full month!  Our first weeks off for summer.  Hmmm, let's see....what have we done?
Made smores and had bonfires.
Ate ice cream at Orange Leaf.

Nora finished up her first year in choir.
Olivia played a few more softball games.
Got this letter in the mail.
The girls had some frun at Metropolis with Granny during my last week of work.

 We went hiking.

 And had a picnic.
We were sure to bring grapes.  Did you know they have natural sugar?  (that joke was for Poppie!)
Terry and I celebrated our 12th anniversary with lunch at Rick's Boatyard, and then walked around downtown.
I ordered a terribly large drink that I couldn't finish myself.
 Some cuties stole my phone.

Nora got honored for getting straight As the whole school year.
 Olivia's softball season ended.
We celebrated Father's Day with some homemade gifts for Daddy.

 I went 'red'.

Here we are at the mall on Father's Day.

And we took some pictures with daddy when we got home.

Here is me and my daddy.
We spent the day in Frankfort with Aunt Val and Ava - had a picnic.

Went to the petting zoo and went swimming.

We went to the Zydeco's block party with Jerry and Kristen, and their kids Cameron and Hannah.

Ran into one of my students from my very first year of teaching.  Kristen is now married.

Had pancakes for dinner at iHop.
I wonder what we will do in July?
