Terry and I celebrated our 9th wedding anniversary yesterday. He reserved a table at Morton's restaurant downtown. When we arrived, typed at the top of our menu were the words "Happy 9th Anniversary, Mr. & Mrs. Smith!".
It was a VERY fancy place. Similar to the nice dinner we had on the first night of our honeymoon in Disney at Arthur's 27! We got an Ocean Platter appetizer (did not get its picture).
We enjoyed glasses of white and red wine. Terry ordered this steak that he just LOVED with a side of asparagus!
Seafood is more MY thing, so I got me this pretty lobster tail with an enormous baked potato side (some of which can be seen in Terry's steak picture). We got creme brule for dessert, which was also our dessert on our honeymoon.
Before our meal was over, the waitress came by with a camera and printed us a memoir picture!Happy anniversary, honey! I love you more everyday. Looking forward to the next 9 years. :)
