October

What's cookin' in October for the Smiths?
 Well, lots actually!
It's been a crazy busy month.
Not a lot of opportunities for "down-time" this month - to just kick back and relax in our "bat-caves".  I'm looking to experience some quality time now that the girls and I are all on Fall Break for the next 2 weeks (watch for pictures of what we do with our time off for the next 2 weeks!).
Luckily, our schedules will be freed up a bit (for a little while at least) now that softball is over (to one girl's dismay).
Nora had her first Joyful Sound Choir performance at church last Sunday.  Looking forward to more of those this winter!

I went to a professional conference this past week and got some dry erase paddles for the girls.
Nora's kindergarten teacher from last year stopped into work with her baby boy.  She is getting ready to return to work after fall break.
Tessa made this at school this week (I love Fall crafts!), which is now hanging on our frig.
This one has been a handful lately - organized a paper plate trail in the kitchen the other day and placed a single piece of dog food on each one.  Followed by decorating the bathroom with mom's maxi-pads.  She also hid daddy's wallet in her princess tent when we were leaving to go somewhere the other day.  What to do with her????
Tess is sporting the rosettes I purchased for our hair for Aunt Val's upcoming wedding.
Took a personal day last week since our sitter was having surgery, so I got to drive my girls to school, have lunch with them, and pick them up - a rarity for a working mom!

It was Career Day at school on Friday - check out my little 'teachers'!
And nothing like a 'spot' of tea first thing in the morning!
More fall-fun pictures to come - getting ready to head out to mom's camper for our annual day of shopping at the covered bridge festival!
