An afternoon at the Children's Museum

After lunch at McAllisters, we took the kids to the Children's Museum with Aunt Val and Nana.
First, we indulged Olivia in the Dinosaur Exhibit...

dug for dino-bones...

and dressed up like dinosaurs!

The kids laid down and looked up...
at the Fireworks of Glass!
Next, we indulged Nora at the Barbie Exhibit (just look at her face!)...
Val and I found the Barbie house we had as kids...
the girls took phone calls for Barbie in her office...

played with her dog...

played with her dolls...
dressed up in her clothes...

and headed down the runway for a fashion show...

before dressing some Barbies...

and finally, designing our own Barbie dress (which was hard, and not as fun as these pictures made it look)!

After that, we indulged Tessa at the Dora and Diego Exhibit. They took care of some hurt animals at Diego's Rescue Center. (Nana took all of the rest of the cute pics from this exhibit)

And we ended our afternoon in the Playscape.
So, funny story...Nana was watching Tessa play in the water table
while I walked off to take some pics of Nora

and while Nana was taking pics of Aunt Val playing with the magnets
Tess took her shoes off and climbed into the water table and sat down! This was the result.
So, wet tush and all, they played a little more in the sand
dressed like a dog
and Nora managed to plant a small vegetable garden!
We had a fun afternoon together!
