I love our Christmas traditions! Last night, we got to do our first one of the year. First, we celebrated my sweet nephew's birthday. Happy 13th, Luc!
We played an intense-round of "hot-potato" in Granny's kitchen!
Then, we wrote our letters to Santa.
(Look at the intense thought that goes into these)
After some dinner at Steak-N-Shake...
...we headed downtown (check out the size of the moon in this picture!).
Each kid mailed their letter in the big mailbox on the circle downtown...
Just as we started to pose for some pictures...
...Santa drove up on his motorcycle!
Tessa told him again that she wanted a "snowball" for Christmas.
The sight of the tree made Tessa's mouth drop wide-open! She insisted that she helped decorate it.
And then the photo-shoot...
Tessa donated some money (tis the season for giving!).
We ended the evening enjoying some hot chocolate at the South Bend Chocolate Company.
And that, my friends, is Christmas tradition #1.... :)
